Oki Semiconductor Audio Devices are targeted for portable
applications, where size is a priority, but where sound quality and loudness are
also very important.
These devices provide high-quality audio functions integrated
in very small packages and with very low power consumption. Portable devices
have constrains in the size of speakers they can embed. Usually, these small
speakers can not reproduce sounds with good quality nor enough volume. Oki
Semiconductor audio technologies make it possible to output very loud
high-quality sound, even when using very small speakers.
Some of the enabler technologies are Oki Semiconductor’s
proprietary LoudSound technology, Automatic Level Controllers, Parametric
Equalizers, Audio Quality CODECs, embedded power regulators, noise filters,
Filterless Class-D Speaker Amplifiers, among others.
LoudSound technology is a digital audio signal processing that
makes it possible to improve the sound quality and volume reproduced by very
small speakers typical of portable applications.
