2. ML9040A-xxA and ML9040-xxB differ in the LCD driving waveform. For all character controllers, "xx" denotes standard character ROM code which can be replaced by a custom ROM code number.
3. The ML9041A-xxA and ML9041A-xxB, as well as ML90944A-xxA and ML9044A-xxB, differ in that the "xxA" versions have Dummy Bumps allocated on both sides of the Bump Chips, while "xxB" versions come without Dummy Bumps. The other specifications for version "xxA" and "xxB" for a specific part number are identical.
