How can I power my AME-51 board?
Descriptive Answer:
Oki’s AME-51 Evaluation Kit contains a JLINK JTAG hardware box (yellow box) that can be used for JTAG debugging. JLINK connects to the host PC through the USB connection. TheAME-51 board is designed to be powered through the JLINK by simply connecting it to the USB port of a standard PC and interfacing it to the CONN1 20-pin JTAG connector.. Optionally, a 5 to 9 V power supply (300 mA or higher) can be used to power the board from the J2 power jack on the board. Note that the board design allows for both JTAG and power supply through J2 to be connected at the same time without damaging the board or supplies used.
