Mr. Masaharu Ozawa, President and COO
Mr. Ozawa, became president of Oki Semiconductor's Sales Division in October 2003, and was previously vice president of business planning. He joined Oki Electric Industry Co., Ltd. in 1983 and had been working for the overseas business unit of the semiconductor division until being appointed to his current position. He started the Oki Singapore operation in 1987 and remained in that position until 1992. Mr. Ozawa joined Oki Semiconductor in the U.S as director of Memory Marketing in 1999 until he was appointed director of Sales Operations in 2000.
Mr. Michael R. Brown, Executive Vice President, Sales Division
Mr. Brown brings more than 28 years of worldwide sales experience to Oki Semiconductor. Prior to joining the company, he served as vice president of Worldwide Sales at QuickLogic Corporation. Mr. Brown spent 15 years at Hitachi America, Ltd., which included several years as vice president of Sales for the Americas. He received his Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology/Psychology from California State University in Northridge and has attended the U.S. Navy's Aviation Electronics School in Memphis, TN.
Mr. Jamshed Qamar, Executive Vice President, Technology and Marketing Center
Mr. Qamar has worked for Oki Semiconductor for 21 years. He worked on the first Oki Semiconductor ASIC design in 1983 and has overseen ASIC design work from the days of the 3.0µm process technology to today's 0.15µm technology. Prior to joining Oki Semiconductor, he was a lead design engineer at Inter Design Inc. Mr. Qamar received his MSEE degree from Mississippi State University.
Mr. Hiroshi Nagai, Vice President, Finance
Mr. Hirai worked for Oki Electric Industry Co., Ltd. for 17 years before joining Oki Semiconductor. During his career with Oki, he has spent many years working on overseas assignments starting with Oki America, Inc. in Hackensak, NJ in 1984. From 1985 to 1986, he worked at Fuji Bank in New York. He also worked in London at Oki Europe, Ltd. as manager of finance from 1988 to 1989. After his overseas duties, Mr. Hirai was assigned to Oki-Japan where he was manager of finance at Oki's Software Development Center in Warabi, Japan.
